Breakfast at Ayu Hill Bungalows · 8:00 AM

The breakfast is late by 45 minutes, and it is probably the worst breakfast (the banana pancake is thick in flour with no banana taste, toast and omelette is acceptable) we tasted in Bali so far. Ayu Hills has a small garden, but not much of a view. The hotel charge IDR 200K for a 15 minutes ride to the port. I call our driver from yesterday, and he charge IDR 150K. Transport is expensive on the island, unless you are on a scooter.

Boat Ride at Toya Pakeh Harbour · 9:30 AM

There is some traffic issues when entering the port area, so allocate 15 minutes to traffic jam. Today the wave is stronger, so I feels dizzy along the way to Sanur. The El Rey boat depart on time at 10am. PS: we contacted a driver we met on the street for a day trip from Sanur to Uluwatu for IDR 450K.

Lunch at Ikan Bakar Bli’Putu · 12:30 PM

The seafood here is really affordable, only IDR 150K for 2 persons. Cooking is slow, about 40 minutes even if there isn't much customers. A plate of additional calamari cost IDR 75K. Taste wise is okay.

Visit at Wisnu Lumbung Uluwatu · 1:00 PM

The hotel looks nice and comfy, spacious enough with a balcony seating. They offer a small coconut as welcome drink. There is also a small pool with a floating swan. You need to hail a gocar to the town center or the beach, but it's not too far away.

Visit at Suluban Beach · 2:00 PM

You go through many confusing stairs among the many restaurants to reach a tiny beach, among 2 cliffs with strong waves striking in. The view is quite amazing, and it is fun. Definitely a special beach. I forgot to take photos with my phone, but I will post a video soon. Many people have a drink at the restaurants and gaze at the waves.

Visit at Padang Padang Beach · 4:00 PM

The specialty of this beach is the long stretch of shallow water, which is great if you just want a dip in the water. The waves are far away in the open sea, where you can see tiny people surfing. Beware of monkeys. You can continue exploring this long stretch of beyond the rocks, with more amazing rock formation along the beach. Entrance fee is IDR 15K per person. It has free toilets and places to wash.

Dinner at The Place With No Name · 6:30 PM

A restaurant by the main road with a good vibe, with quite a few Haiwaian dishes. It is pretty noisy if you sit outside due to the traffic, but they have live music later in the night. The cucumber soda is very refreshing. Butter garlic shrimp is a letdown, because there is not enough sauce for the rice, and tge prawn is kinda soft (maybe prawns in Bali are so). California Burito is pretty good, especially the green sauce which comes with it.

Dessert at Usha cafe&Bakery Uluwatu · 7:41 PM

We came here for coffee and cake. The price is affordable, but taste wise is average.
