Buranchi chazuke (RM 18) seems to be upgraded with more ingredients, and tastes better than before. Omu & friends (RM 23) is a nice and hearty breakfast set. Tried honey coffee (RM 10) for the first time, pretty interesting.

Feels that the food are just average.

Nice environment, with indoor forest ambience. Cakes and Coffee are not good, so not suited for afternoon tea. Perhaps their main meals are better.

Shoulder Loin Pork (RM 31) is soft and tasty. Love the HamDog pairing sausage with burger. Kombucha (RM 11) is nice too.

The noodle and stuffed ingredients are really delicious. Hard to explain why such simple food are really nice. RM 17.70 for 2 bowl with ingredients. The rose coffee (RM 4) a bit fancy, but still good and worth trying.

If you like old buildings, or abandoned buildings, or small town historic buildings, Papan is the perfect place. Istana Raja Billah, a historic mansions with interesting architecture. You have quite a few abandoned shop houses over takan by nature and bayan trees. Artistic installation by locals. If you enjoy these, allocate at least half a day.

Our room no 1 is very spacious, big bathtub and free water dispenser in the room. It feels very comfortable. The location is pretty central, yet with parkings. Free breakfast provided, it is okay, but too much temptation with Ipoh good around. Nasi Ganja and Wong Kee Tau Fu Fa is just nearby.

The Yu Kong Hor (RM 10) really very delicious, smooth and tasty.

The are reasons this place is famous: fast, affordable, simple, tasty, accessible (location and hours wise).

Bought some biscuits due to its convenient location.

We have the RM 168 four course menu. The Tuna starter was excellent, nice texture and taste, nicely seared. The soup is okay, mushroom probably better than the broccoli soup. As for the main, the lamb is probably not soft enough, and taste wise not to my expectations. The prawn is nice, but maybe slightly overcooked. The lemon tart is quite sourish, and the coconut ice cream is huge. Overall quite affordable, with room for improvement for the mains. Also dining for couple could turn noisy when there is a huge party, as it is open area seating. Service is good.
